Camilla only features on one of Prince Charles' Christmas cards

Royal fans squealed with delight on Friday when the family released their Christmas cards – and they didn’t disappoint.

Kate Middleton and Prince William shared an adorable snap with their three children in the grounds of Anmer Hall, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reflected on their wedding with a picture from their reception in May.

However, Prince Charles decided to send out two different Christmas cards, with only one of them featuring his wife, Camilla.

The first one showed the 70-year-old Prince of Wales sitting on a garden bench in the gardens of Clarence House, looking adoringly at his 71-year-old wife, the Duchess of Cornwall.

Fans were quick to comment on how ‘sweet’ the photo was and ‘shows how much they love each other’.

However, the future king’s second card didn’t feature any member of the royal family at all, but was instead a watercolour painting of the Island of Stroma, Caithness, in Scotland.

Anaphase Store, which is an online-based clothing, homeware, cosmetics and footwear store in Cardiff, posted an image of the card to Twitter.

“After a long and stressful day, it was nice to come home to a Christmas card from our good friend Prince Charles! #wearebestfriends” the caption read.

And while we might have been gushing over the royals’ Christmas cards, Meghan Markle’s half-sister, Samantha Markle, has slammed her and Prince Harry’s festive card.

Samantha Markle claimed it was ‘rude’ the royals decided to use a photo where their backs were turned.

“Interesting that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have their backs turned,” Samantha started her rant on Twitter.

“Is this towards the world or just the Ragland and Markle family?

“It’s a bit sad. Face the Christmas spirit.”

She later went on to further explain her criticism of the photo and lashed out at those who didn’t agree with her.

“It’s incredibly rude to turn your back in a Christmas photo that is meant to share warmth and good wishes with the world.

“Those that criticise me for pointing out the truth, need to get that brown stuff off their noses. I hear the world’s smallest violin playing.”
