'When Calls the Heart's Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing Reunite for New Hallmark Movie

Fans of When Calls the Heart have longed for a reunion between actors Erin Krakow and Daniel Lissing. The two romanced an entire fandom with the courtship between teacher Elizabeth Thatcher and Mountie Jack Thorton. When Lissing decided to leave the show, Hearties were devastated and have long campaigned for the character to return (despite having been killed off in the series). Short of a resurrection, zombie reboot, or dream sequence, it's unlikely Lissing will return to the series so fans are eagerly anticipating Santa Tell Me, the Hallmark Christmas movie that finally reunites these fan favorite actors.

When Olivia (Krakow), a successful interior designer, finds an old letter from Santa promising she’ll meet the love of her life by Christmas Eve—and that his name will be Nick—she’s stunned to meet not one, but three guys named Nick. As she navigates these holiday romances, Olivia also finds herself drawn to her charming co-worker, Chris (Lissing), throwing her magical Christmas quest into question. Meet the cast of Santa Tell Me

Erin Krakow (Olivia)

For over ten seasons, Krakow has led the cast of When Calls the Heart, Hallmark Channel's longest running original series. The cast is currently in production on season 12 of the show. Krakow has starred in several Hallmark films including The Wedding Cottage, It Was Always You, and the Finding Father Christmas trilogy of movies. She previously appeared on Army Wives, NCIS, and Castle.

Daniel Lissing (Chris)

Daniel Lissing is best known for his roles as Mountie Jack Thornton on Hallmark Channel's When Calls the Heart and as James King on ABC's Last Resort. He reprised his role as Mountie Jack in a single scene on When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas on Great American Family. He also starred as a park ranger in GAF's A Christmas Star opposite Sara Canning.

Benjamin Ayres (Nick)

Best known for his roles as Dr. Zachary Miller on Saving Hope, Ayres starred in Cranberry Christmas and A Blue Ridge Mountain Christmas for Hallmark. He has had recurring roles on Suits and Burden of Truth. Ayres stars opposite Alison Sweeney on The Chronicle Mysteries on Hallmark Mystery.

Christopher Russell (Nick)

Russell has starred in several holiday movies including Peppermint and Postcards and Operation Nutcracker. He most recently starred in A Costa Rican Wedding on Hallmark Channel and A Vintage Christmas for Great American Family. He will star in the upcoming season of When Hope Calls on Great American Family.

Kurt Szarka (Nick)

Szarka has appeared in a variety of series including Wynonna Earp, Batwoman, and Riverdale. He has also appeared in Picture Perfect Mysteries on Hallmark Mystery.
