Brooklyn Beckham and girlfriend 'separated by security' at Cannes

Brooklyn Beckham and his girlfriend Hana Cross reportedly had to be separated by security after an ‘impassioned’ argument at Cannes Film Festival.

The commotion is the latest in a string of alleged public spats between the pair, which are said to have left David and Victoria worried about the ‘toxic’ nature of their eldest son’s relationship.

“They had had a couple of drinks and started trading insults. They are both still young, so of course everything is very impassioned at that age,” a source told The Sun.

“Not surprisingly, (David and Victoria) are seriously worried about the couple’s toxic relationship and frustrated by all this humiliating public drama.”

Brooklyn, 20, and 22-year-old Hana were spotted enjoying the glitzy film festival for much of the past week until several disagreements became public.

This culminated during a champagne lunch at the five-star Hotel Martinez when Hana reportedly confronted Brooklyn and security were forced to intervene.

“Things escalated quickly, and they were in each other’s faces, screaming and crying,” according to the source.

The disagreement is not believed to have turned physical.

Budding photographer Brooklyn, and Hana, who works as a model, were spotted engaged in a heated discussion in front of his brother Romeo in April, weeks before being pictured crying in Brooklyn’s car outside a restaurant in LA.

However, after debuting their relationship late last year, London-born Hana has apparently already grown close to her famous potential future in-laws.

She’s already scored a follow from Victoria on Instagram and was seen enjoying a night out with Brooklyn and his dad at New York Fashion Week in January.
