Brooke Blurton’s partner Darvid Garayeli shares exciting baby news

Two weeks after winning Brooke Blurton’s heart on The Bachelorette, Darvid Garayeli has finally regained access to his social media account and shared some very exciting news.

The 27-year-old landscaper took to Instagram on Thursday to announce that his sister and her partner had welcomed a son named Hudson.

Darvid posted an adorable snap on his Instagram Story of his nephew, who was fast asleep wearing a beanie and wrapped in a lion print blanket.

The post also included screenshots of Brooke and Darvid smiling on FaceTime as they watched Hudson sleep.

“We are proud to announce that we are officially Uncle D and Aunty B to this little guy!” he captioned the photo.

Darvid first mentioned his nephew’s impending arrival during the finale week of The Bachelorette when discussing reasons why he wouldn’t want to leave Brisbane.

The reality TV star explained that he owned a house and ran a business in Queensland, as well as the fact he lived extremely close to his family and wanted to see his nephew grow up.

However, Darvid and Brooke have since moved in together in Melbourne and recently hosted a small party with friends to celebrate.

The exciting news comes shortly after the happy couple revealed exclusively to Yahoo Lifestyle that Darvid had messaged Brooke on Instagram back in 2018 when she appeared on the Honey Badger’s season of The Bachelor.

“He slid into my DMs like three years ago,” Brooke confessed.

“Obviously we can’t follow each other on social media, that would totally be a giveaway. But he’d been following me and the first message that he sent me was, ‘You are everything’ in 2018,” she said, followed by Darvid who added, “A bit clinger vibes”.

It doesn’t end there though, because a year later Darvid messaged Brooke for a second time with, “I’d marry you”.

“And here we are!” Brooke continued. “Anyone would think that’s a bit stalker-ish, but I’m like, it’s quite endearing and I absolutely adore you for it because you obviously felt some connection to me.”
