Brittany Mahomes Pokes Fun at Husband Patrick's Wardrobe Malfunction at Chiefs Training Camp — Watch!

The star quarterback forgot his pants pads — and the team documented the whole ordeal

Brittany Mahomes is flexing her WAG muscle.

Just ask Patrick Mahomes, who is currently in the middle of Kansas City Chiefs training camp ahead of the NFL season and is getting gently trolled by his wife.

The team's quarterback found himself in a bit of a pickle, as evidenced by a video shared on Instagram on Aug. 7. While on the field with his team, Patrick looks down and says, "Oh, dude, I didn't put my pants on. You think anyone notices?"

Cut to another angle, and Patrick tells another one of his teammates that he's actually forgotten his pants pads.

Always the jokester, though, Patrick says to one of the other guys, "Maybe he'll think my quads are so big that they look like pants." But no one is convinced — and Patrick boisterously says to literally no one that he "looks like an idiot now."

It gets to the point where he's forced to let one of the coaches know he's forgotten a crucial piece of his uniform and jogs off the field to rectify the situation.

It doesn't stop there, though.

Ever the doting wife, Brittany shared the Chiefs' hilarious video of the whole ordeal to her Instagram Stories, writing alongside it, "Sorry I'm not there to dress you," with a crying laughing emoji.

Plenty of people in the Chiefs' Instagram comments compared Patrick's wardrobe mishap to the time Jason Kelce wore shorts on the red carpet for the Kelce premiere in September last year and his brother Travis Kelce — who also plays on the Chiefs with Patrick — gave him a hard time for it. Yet again, it came down to the wife.

On an episode of the brothers' podcast, New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce, Travis heckled Jason for wearing shorts, and Jason tried to get out of it, placing blame on his wife, Kylie Kelce.

"I was gonna have jeans on, but Kylie —" Jason started.

"Kylie what?" Travis cut him off, knowing his brother was trying to blame his wife.

"Kylie was running late," Jason continued. "I just came straight from football. Kylie was gonna bring the jeans. Kylie was late."

"Why didn’t Jason bring jeans for Jason?" Travis succinctly asked.

Jason tried to blame football and then Kylie but eventually realized he had no argument and both brothers laughed.

The moral of the story here is that wives do a lot to save their husbands from wardrobe mishaps! Especially football wives.
