Brittany Mahomes Admits She 'Needs Naps' During Pregnancy with 3rd Baby: 'When You're Pregnant, You're Tired'

The Kansas City Current co-owner shares daughter Sterling, son Patrick "Bronze", 18 months, and a third child on the way with husband Patrick Mahomes

Brittany Mahomes values her sleep while pregnant.

As a guest on the Wednesday, Aug. 28 episode of the Whoop podcast, the Kansas City Current co-owner, 28, opened up about how her current pregnancy with her third baby with husband Patrick Mahomes, 28, has affected her daily routine as a mom of two.

Brittany shared that the couple is "excited to have another little kiddo running around our house causing chaos." The baby will join their daughter Sterling Skye, 3, and son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon III, 21 months, and the model shared her secret to managing her pregnancy sleep schedule while parenting her two little ones.

"I need naps," Brittany admitted. "So I like to work my naps into my schedule now, because when you’re pregnant you’re tired."

She continues to explain how making sure she gets her naps in has become increasingly difficult as she adds more children to her family.

"With the first pregnancy, it was just me. So I could take naps, sleep all day, you know, I had nothing priority for me to do," Brittany explained. "Then, with Bronze, it was like, ‘Well, I have to take care of this kid but I’m tired,’ so I would just nap when she napped."

She continued, "Now I have two kids to take care of, but they do nap at the same time, so I’m able to nap with them. But I am definitely a little bit more tired. Some days I wake up and I’m feeling absolutely horrible."

When it comes to making sure her children get their sleep as well, Brittany reveals the one item she "can't live without" with a newborn: "A sleep sack."

The couple announced that they're expecting their third together in July, sharing the exciting news in a joint Instagram Reel.

They posted an adorable video of themselves with Sterling and son Bronze, 18 months, having a photo shoot in all-white outfits, as they smiled, laughed and danced around with sonograms.

"Round three, here we come 🤍," the soon-to-be parents of three captioned the Reel.
