Britney Spears Calls Out Her Haters in Candid Instagram Post

Britney Spears is not having it. In an effort to call out her haters, she shared a post to Instagram directed at her social media trolls. Below a photo of the Bible verse, "Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong," she included a pointed caption to some of her followers.

"I get how some people might not like my posts or even understand them, but this is me being happy," she wrote. "This is me being authentic and as real as it gets!!!!! I want to inspire people to do the same and just be themselves without pleasing others... that's the key to happiness 🌸🌸🌸🌸 !!!!!!"

Brit is most likely referring to the raised eyebrows surrounding some of her, well, more unique posts. She frequently shares videos of her modeling outfits (while strutting through her house like it's a runway) and videos of her working out or dancing. We don't really understand why these types of posts would cause such criticism, but because of her long career in the public eye—some people will always disapprove of her actions.

Despite the fact that she's assured her fans that she's happy, some commenters are still making claims that she's not really posting these photos or that she's in trouble. The hashtag #SaveBritney appears under a lot of her posts including the one below.

Considering her history of struggling with her mental health, I'm sure these types of comments are especially hurtful for her to read. Whether some of her followers have good intentions or not, the constant criticism needs to stop—it's toxic.
