A bride-to-be has been dubbed the ‘Facebook Bridezilla‘ after complaining about wedding well-wishers. ‘Stick [your advice] up your ass,” she told them.

In the Facebook post, which was later screenshot and circulated on Mumsnet under the title ‘Facebook Bridezilla’, the woman launches a scathing attack on those who had shown interest in her upcoming nuptials.

“The amount of questions I have been asked about our wedding is getting ridiculous and by people who won’t even be invited. Before anyone asks I am going to wear my glasses and you know what I don’t need to tell you why.”

She goes on to answer some imagined ‘further questions’ which she claimed to have been asked by people.

“Yes I am changing my name. Yes I have picked my bridesmaids (they know who they are). Yes [my husband] did pick the ring all by himself and yes it was a complete surprise.

She finished, in charming fashion, by rejecting any advice whatsoever: “Kindly take your ‘helpful advice’ and stick it up your ass.”

The post was met with horror by Mumsnet users. In the thread, which contains 86 comments, one user wrote: “There’s really no excuse for that sort of outburst. People ask polite questions about weddings, pregnancy and children etc to be nice. Ugh.”

Another added: “I don’t think anyone cares about her wedding half as much as she thinks they do.”

We totally get that weddings are a stressful time – but, based on the Facebook post, the bride in question does seem to have got carried away. Let’s just hope she calms down once the wedding is over.
