A bride has gone to great lengths - and expense - to make a dramatic entrance at her wedding, splurging hundreds on a unique stunt that left her guests ‘screaming’.

Reverence, 35, pulled out all the stops to ensure her and her husband Joseph Efoma-Oruerio’s 10 year wedding anniversary celebration was as extravagant as possible.

For the event planner, that meant purchasing a giant inflatable balloon online for $727 and having it shipped across the globe to Warri, Nigeria, where the couple were set to renew their vows.

On their big day, Reverence was encased inside the life-sized translucent bubble before bursting into the room and slowly dancing her way down the aisle.

To stunned onlookers, the glamorous bride - dressed in a white off-the-shoulder gown and matching headband - appeared to be floating on air as she approached her 51-year-old beloved.

“The idea came from watching my kids playing in the pool with a balloon. I started thinking of how a bride could make an entrance into her wedding in a balloon,” Reverence said.

“I searched online for life-size balloons and eventually bought one from Dubai,” she added.

“It was the first time the guests saw a bride in a balloon, they screamed so much with excitement. It was the highlight of the event,” she said.
