Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia has shared new details on what occurred in the early days of her and ex Zach Bryan’s relationship.

In a new episode of the BFFs podcast that was released on Nov. 7, the 25-year-old podcast host and internet personality revealed that the Grammy winner — who she alleges was emotionally abusive — had gotten a tattoo dedicated to her only a few days after they’d started getting to know each other on a road trip from Philadelphia to Oklahoma.

“After that weekend, we spent three days together, I think two or three days later, he got me tattooed on his arm,” she said while claiming Bryan immediately began "love bombing" her.

Her BFFs co-host Josh Richards pointed out that LaPaglia and Bryan hadn't started dating when this occurred, to which she replied, "nope."

According to WebMD, "love bombing is an emotional manipulation technique that involves giving someone excessive compliments, attention, or affection to eventually control them." LaPaglia said she experienced this for four months before Bryan "switched."

LaPaglia also mentioned that she has to remove her own ink that references one of Bryan's songs. In an August 2023 TikTok video, she showed off a tattoo that read "how lucky are we,” which is a lyric in his track “28.”

Looking back, LaPaglia said that she should’ve seen the red flags in their relationship.

However, she claims, “He manipulated the “f--- out of me. I truly thought he was this great dude because in the first four months of our relationship he was. That’s who he showed me. I fell in love with this person that doesn't exist.”

Elsewhere in the interview, LaPaglia alleged Bryan asked her to sign an NDA, offering her $12 million and a New York apartment to "not talk about the relationship."

Reps for LaPaglia and Bryan did not immediately respond to PEOPLE's request for comment.

Bryan and LaPaglia met at the ACM Awards in May 2023. A month later, he messaged her after she attended and praised his New York City concert. They started dating in July 2023.

After more than a year, they called it quits. Bryan shared on Instagram they went their separate ways in October 2024.

On his Instagram Stories, Bryan wrote that the couple had broken up, though he continued to "respect and love her with every ounce of my heart."

Shortly afterward, LaPaglia seemed to respond to his post with one on her own Instagram Stories, saying that she was feeling "really blindsided."

“Gonna hop off social media for a while and attempt to heal privately, when I’m ready I’ll be back and ready to talk," she wrote in her post. "I love you guys so much thank you for all of your kind words. Remember you are so loved and everything’s always gonna be okay.”
