Brianna LaPaglia Says Her Weight Has Dropped to What It Was in High School amid Zach Bryan Breakup: 'Sick from Anxiety'
"I’ve been really hesitant to jump back into my life," Brianna LaPaglia says in a new TikTok video uploaded in the wake of her breakup from Zach Bryan
Brianna "Chickenfry" LaPaglia continues to open up about her post-breakup life.
In a new video shared on her TikTok spam account, the social media personality got candid about how her life has been impacted since her split with ex-boyfriend Zach Bryan was made public on Oct. 22.
The video covered various topics of the mental and physical effects LaPaglia's been experiencing in the days that followed, including the fear she has to leave her own home. "I’ve been really hesitant to jump back into my life... to go back to New York and like hit the ground running," she says in the clip.
"I think I’m finally getting to a place where I’m okay going back," she continues, noting that she had plans to return to New York the night she posted the video on Nov. 11. "I’m living at my mom’s right now and I’m really just trying to take the time to process," she reveals.

Much attention has been on the Plan Bri UnCut podcaster since Bryan announced on Oct. 22 via social media that they broke up. She said was "completely blindsided" by the country singer's decision to post the news of their separation.
LaPaglia then appeared on the BFF Podcast for her first tell-all interview since the breakup on Nov. 7. During the episode, she accused Bryan of emotional abuse while they were together.
"The last year of my life has been the hardest year of my life dealing with the abuse from this dude," LaPaglia said, referring to Bryan. "I'm still scared right now because I'm scared of him," she continued. "My brain's rewired and I'm scared to make him mad and last week, I didn't want to talk about it 'cause I was scared."
In her latest TikTok, the content creator doubled down on her claims and clarified that she wasn't coming forward for attention. "I don’t want for a second anyone to think that I’m like using this for social media," she says in the clip.
"If anything sharing everything on social media has made my actual life a lot scarier for me," LaPaglia continues. "I’m scared to go back to New York, I’m scared to go out in public because I’m scared one of Zach’s fans on the street is going to be like 'Team Zach' and say something to me about it."
"I don’t care if people listen to his music or go to his concerts or whatever — but like people saying that stuff to me, they don’t understand the weight of that," she says. "So I’m really scared to jump back into my life, I’ve been inside since."
LaPaglia admits that "sharing" details about her past relationship "has only made things harder" for her, especially because she "didn't even share it" in the first place. "So this is going to be a long journey and I’m willing to share it with everyone if it helps anyone."
She concludes, "You guys have inspired me more than I have inspired you. You have no f—ing idea."
Elsewhere in the TikTok video, LaPaglia detailed the 15-lb. weight loss she had "quickly" touched upon in the podcast. "I’m a very skinny person, I’ve always been. That’s my build, I’m a skinny girl — but I’ve always been, like, healthily skinny," she says.
LaPaglia went on to reveal that she's currently the same weight she was at age 15 and noted that it wasn't because she "didn't want to eat," but rather that she was "physically sick from what I was going through mentally."
"So when you’re in a constant fight or flight, your body is so anxious to the point where you throw up, you can’t eat, you can’t hold anything down," she continues. "I just always felt like I was going to throw up, so I would eat like one meal a day... things just don’t snap back."
LaPaglia revealed that she has this "new anxiety" that she's "never had" in her life, saying that she's "still really struggling" and is searching for "ways to cope with it." Now, she says she's trying to figure out how to "gain weight" and not feel "sick from anxiety."
Bryan and LaPaglia first met at the Academy of Country Music Awards in May 2023 and officially began dating in July 2023. They were together for over a year when the country musician confirmed their breakup on Oct. 22 and asked for privacy for both of them.

"Brianna and me have broken up and I respect and love her with every ounce of my heart," Bryan wrote at the time. "She has loved me unconditionally for a very long time and for that I'll always thank her. I have had an incredibly hard year personally and struggled through some pretty severe things. I thought it would be beneficial for both of us to go our different ways."
