Yahoo Lifestyle Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt Add Luxury to Their Resorts on '100 Day Hotel Challenge'
It's hard to believe that 100 Day Hotel Challenge is already wrapping up! After the new episode this week, only one remains—the finale will air on September 17.
On the fifth episode, the teams take on the all-important luxury suites at their neighboring North Carolina properties. The pressure is on for this renovation, as the newly updated spaces have the potential to make a significant impact on the owners' bottom lines. Plus, Mika Kleinschmidt has a commanding lead with 3 victories to her husband Brian's 1, so the pressure is on!
This time, Brian is joined by HGTV stars Cristy Lee (Battle on the Mountain) and Poonam Moore (Rico to the Rescue), while Mika gets a helping hand from Kim Myles (Battle on the Mountain) and Kim Wolfe (Why the Heck Did I Buy This House?).
As usual, the teams are under strict time and budget constraints. But, if you've been watching the season, you probably won't be surprised to find that Brian and Mika made some time to prank each other.
In this exclusive clip, Mika and her team coerce Brian's workers to take an unscheduled break, thanks to some fresh-baked cookies. She says, "I'm sure they're working hard, so I told them to take 20, 30, and come back for seconds if you want!"
Brian says, "That's not very sweet of you, Mika." He continues, "Things must be going really bad at the William & Garland for Mika to stoop this low. But guess what, she just ignited the fire within me, and I just want to beat her that much more."
All pranks aside, it all comes down to the judges. Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott will have the final say on who takes home the prize for charity and bragging rights.
