Brian Austin chokes up talking about split from Megan Fox after 10 years

Brian Austin Green has choked up as he opened up about his split from wife of 10 years, Megan Fox.

Speaking on his '…With Brian Austin Green' podcast, he confirmed he and the Transformers star have decided to call it quits, after she decided she felt more like herself when she was alone.

"I wanted everyone to hear everything from me, and this is it. Neither one of us did anything to each other. She's always been honest with me. I've always been honest with her. We've had an amazing relationship. I will always love her. And I know she will always love me and I know as far as a family what we have built is really cool and really special,” he said.

Brian then went into detail about what caused their split, saying he was away shooting a film last year when he dreamt about their relationship falling apart.

“About three weeks into her being gone and shooting, I had a dream, which most people dream, but I don't ever remember my dreams,' he said.

“But, I had this dream that she came back from work, and that we were distant, that things were off, that things were weird.”

While Megan reassured him everything was fine between them, when he returned from filming, he sensed something had changed.

“I gave her a few weeks, I figured you know, she's been out of the country, she's jet-lagged, she's been shooting nights, I have to give her some time to recoup a little bit and get back into life,” he said.

Megan eventually told him that she wanted to separate, as she felt more like herself when she wasn’t with him.

“She said, ‘You know, I realised while I was out of the country working alone that I feel more like myself, and I liked myself better during that experience, and I think that may be something worth trying for me,’” he said.

“And, I was shocked and I was upset about it, but I can't be upset at her, and I wasn't upset at her because that's, she didn't ask to feel that way, it wasn't a choice she made, that's the way she honestly felt.”

He went on to say that they’ll always be good friends and are committed to co-parenting their three children - Noah, seven, Bodhi, six, and Journey, three.

As for rumours that Megan has already moved on with Machine Gun Kelly, real name Colson Baker, Brian said “they’re just friends at this point”.
