Maddox Jolie-Pitt has given insight into his relationship with his famous parents, and seemingly confirmed rumours of a feud with father Brad Pitt.

The 18-year-old made the shock admission to a photographer near Yonsei University, in South Korea, where he recently began studying.

Maddox speaks out

In the clip, the former couple’s eldest son first spoke about whether his father would make the trip to visit him at college.

“I don’t know about that, what’s happening,” he said.

Moments later, the teen responded to questions about whether his relationship with Brad was ‘over’ to which he simply said: “Whatever happens, happens.”

The pair have reportedly been estranged since 2016 when they were involved in an altercation while onboard a private jet.

Although Brad strongly denies any physical interaction, he did admit to screaming at the then 16-year-old.

Old wounds

The FBI eventually investigated the incident, and while the dad-of-six was cleared of wrongdoing, it is believed to have triggered Angelina to file for divorce.

Last month, Maddox’s 44-year-old mother dropped him off at university solo and understandably fought back tears during the milestone moment.

The pair were seen checking out the campus, ahead of Maddox’s launch into a biochemistry course, weeks after details about his decision to attend the school emerged.

“He got accepted to other universities but choose Yonsei,” a source told People.

“He has been studying Korean language. He has lessons multiple times a week to prepare.”
