Boxing world reacts to the tragic death of Maxim Dadashev
Boxer Maxim Dadashev died on Tuesday as a result of the injuries he sustained during his Friday night fight against Subriel Matias. The boxing world is reeling from the news of the death of one of their own, especially since it essentially happened in front of everyone’s eyes during a fight.

Wow my heart heavy right now. I remember walking to the gas station with Maxim after he weighed in for one of his fights. Pray for his family to have strength in these tuff times because he was a good dude. RIP

Boxers and race car drivers put it all on the line when they compete. Seen many lives lost in each sport but these are brave people. RIP Max Dadashev, good kid and true gladiator.

Didn’t know him personally, but I respected what he was fighting for. He wanted to bring his family to the states for a better life, and I fully respect that. Sadly his life was cut short, and I can only imagine what his loved ones are going through. My condolences to his family pic.twitter.com/61vtLFQdKz

There can be no argument. Boxing took the life of Maxim Dadashev. Such tragedies will continue to happen as long as boxing exists. It's up to each of us to face that reality and decide whether or not it's worth the price.
