Bono and Catherine Zeta-Jones Serenade Michael Douglas on His 80th Birthday

Michael Douglas received a sweet surprise in honor of his 80th birthday, and it's one most people can only dream of.

In a new Instagram video, Douglas' wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones—who shares a birthday with her husband—serenaded him with a celebratory tune, joined by the one and only Bono.

The U2 rocker and Wednesday actress sang the medley of "Happy Birthday" together, directing their message to the Douglas while also including "Catherine's" name. Bono held a small plate with a single cupcake, candle ablaze as they belted out the familiar tune.

The two actors were each born on Sept. 25, though Douglas is 25 years Zeta-Jones' senior.

"What a lovely gift! Thank you all for your kind birthday wishes and messages! We love you all! ❤️ 🎂 🎉 @catherinezetajones @u2," the Wall Street star captioned the video.

The heartfelt musical gesture received rave reviews from fans, who poured into the comment section of the post with their reactions.

"I want Bono to sing to me for my birthday! 😉," one exclaimed, while another said, "That’s lit, happy birthday legend 🎂🎉."

"Happy Birthday day, Catherine &Michael!! Tons of love," actress Glenn Close added, as another fan admitted, "I love this."

Even Zeta-Jones chimed in, writing, "Michael let’s do it all again in 364 days!! Love you. ❤️."

Earlier this week, fans were astonished when the Red 2 actress shared a spicy photo as she marked turning 55.

“In my birthday suit! After over 25 years of sharing my birthday day with my husband, I am running out of gift ideas!” she captioned the bare Instagram post while posing in a bathroom sans clothes. “This is gift option two, golf balls being option one… of course 🤣.”
