Another of Michael Jackson’s former bodyguards has spoken out, this time in defence of the late singer, claiming he only ever knew him to have had ‘relations’ with adult women.

Bill Whitfield was a security guard for Jackson in his final years, and co-authored the 2014 book Remember the Time: Protecting Michael Jackson in His Final Days.

Now the former bodyguard has responded to claims levelled in HBO’s Leaving Neverland that Michael Jackson abused James Safechuck and Wade Robson when they were children.

Bill spoke on Hidden Truth Show with Jim Breslo, defending the late pop star from his accusers and pointed to the singer spending time with two particular women, rather than children.

“I’m not gonna put his whole sexual actions out there,” the former staff member said. “I would never do that. I’m aware of him spending time with women.”

The bodyguard, who was not employed by Jackson at the time the allegations took place, admits his knowledge is incomplete. He added: “I’m aware that he spent time with two particular women, but what he did with them… he spent time.”

Bill’s defence flies in the face of other staff members who have spoken out, including another former bodyguard and a maid, both of whom were convinced of Jackson’s guilt.

Bill’s defence comes after Jackson’s daughter Paris insisted it’s not her ‘role’ to publicly defend her late father from James and Wade’s shocking accusations.

The 20-year-old actress took to Twitter to explain why she hasn’t commented on Finding Neverland.

“There’s nothing i can say that hasn’t already been said in regards to defence,” she said.

“Taj (Jackson) is doing a perfect job on his own. and i support him. but that’s not my role.”

“i’m just tryna get everyone to chill out and go with the flow, be mellow and think about the bigger picture. that’s me. (sic)”

Paris has also been the subject of intense media scrutiny, and has slammed false reports of hospitalisation following the revelations.

Leaving Neverland has sparked a worldwide controversy with commentators including Macauley Culkin and Oprah weighing in on the contentious claims.
