Boden expands its collection of affordable reusable face masks

Wearing a face covering in shops and enclosed public spaces is now mandatory in England. This includes supermarkets, indoor shopping centres, banks and takeaways.

Under the new enforcement, those who do not comply can now be denied entry, removed from shops, or could face a fine of up to £100.

The new rules are an extension of the government guidelines that were put in place in June, which made masks compulsory on public transport to help defend against the coronavirus.

Children under the age of 11 and those with disabilities or certain health conditions will be exempt from the rule.

As face masks become more prevalent in our day-to-day lives, numerous high street stores have started selling their own designs.

Mango, ASOS and Boden were among the first UK retailers to create packs of non-medical fabric face masks for adults.

Each non-medical face mask has been sustainably made from old Boden fabrics, which feature a range of the British retailers classic patterns, all designed in-house in London.

Each mask is made of three layers: two layers of soft jersey fabric for comfort, plus a non-woven filter, which is bonded to one of the jersey layers.

They also feature elasticated fabric covered straps and an internal wire that adjusts the fit over your nose, which help to provide a secure fit and added comfort.
