Go ahead, look at Bob Dylan.
In a post shared to X (formerly Twitter) on Nov. 19, the Nobel Prize honoree responded after a woman who apparently danced backup for him during a 1991 Grammys performance claimed she was told not to look at him.
"My Joy was taken away after rehearsing as one of the Backup dancers for your set on the Grammys in NYC 1991," wrote Cheryl Henry on the social media platform, referencing Dylan's performance of "Masters of War."

"We all had to walk single file to exit thru the backstage area, past the dressing rooms where you were standing wearing a hooded black robe, kinda like the boxers used to wear," she said, adding that he apparently told her, "[and] you said to me as I passed you, 'Now don't you go cutting that long red hair of yours before tomorrow night.'"
Henry continued, "By the time I reached the exit door at Radio City I had been told not to return."
She recalled a woman "who was running things" telling the dancers "NOT to make eye contact with you," adding, "I guess I snuck a peek as I passed you !"
Dylan, who's been active on X as of late, spotted her note and responded, "Just want you to know I’ve never told anybody not to make eye contact with me. That is just ridiculous. And the next time you see me please look straight into my eyes."
Seemingly relieved by his explanation, Henry then replied, "I knew it wasn't coming from you ! I look forward to it !"

"I never met him," said Chalamet, 28. "He’s sort of retreated from the public eye. Never met him. Would love to!" However, the Dune star added with a laugh, "I’ve seen him live."
