Boardmasters 2025: tickets and other information
Thousands of music and surfing fans will be hoping to get their hands on tickets for the annual Boardmasters festival in Cornwall.
It will take place from 6 to 10 August across two sites at Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach in Newquay, and the first tranche of performers was announced on Wednesday.
General sale tickets will be available on Friday morning through the festival website.
Here is everything you need to know about Boardmasters 2025, from who is performing to how to get there.
How can I buy tickets?
There were presale tickets available earlier this week, but the next chance to purchase them is in the general sale.
The general sale is open from 10:00 GMT.
People will be able to purchase them from the Boardmasters website.
How much are tickets?
Boardmasters said weekend camping tickets start from £229.
There are options to be able to access the festival from 6 to 11 August, or 7 to 11 August.
There are also day tickets which start from £299, which does not include camping.
VIP tickets start from £329 and include camping and non-camping options.
The camping options include fast-track entry to campsites and the arena, as well as access to the VIP campsite bar.
Child tickets are also available from £25.
Those nine to 15 years old must have an adult ticket and be accompanied by an adult over 21.
Boardmasters 2025 line-up
Boardmasters saidon Wednesday The Prodigy and Raye will headline the festival.
Organisers named 40 further acts and said "hundreds more" were yet to be announced.
Organisers said they will introduce afternoon sessions for the first time and these would be headed up by Kaiser Chiefs, Natasha Bedingfield and Rizzle Kicks.
London Grammar, Maribou State, Nelly Furtado and Wet Leg will also play.
Where can I watch the surfing?
Festival goers will also be able to watch international surfing pros at Fistral Beach.
Competitions include the Boardmasters OPEN men’s and women’s division and the Boardmasters Longboard OPEN men’s and women’s division.
There will also be a Junior OPEN boys and girls division - festival organisers said more information on this would be announced next year.
Camping information
The weekend camping ticket includes entry to the festival, general campsites and main arena.
There is also a new Camping+ which offers a reserved camping pitch and the use of premium facilities including hot showers.
There is also a new Chilled Camping zone which can host groups of six per party - with a dedicated campsite with controlled access, an 11:00 GMT noise curfew and a 24-hour reception.
VIP Weekend camping includes reserving a pitch, showers and toilets access, and a complimentary on-site parking pass.
For the first time, Boardmasters will also offer accommodation packages for those choosing to stay off-site in Newquay.
There are a range of options close to the festival site.
Travel options
This year there will be an increase from 85 to 119 long distance routes with Big Green Coach.
These will be available to festival goers from all over the country, along with 50 coaches serving the nearby park and ride.
Organisers have also relocated drop-offs, now nearer to gates.
