Yahoo Lifestyle Blake Shelton Calls His Christmas Tree a "Piece of Junk" in Funny Video
As much as we love pulling out our holiday decorations and decking the halls, we have to admit the process can come with a bit of frustration. Inevitably, there are some lights that don't work, a favorite ornament gets broken, or (gasp!) our tree is infested with bugs. It turns out, our favorite celebrities face the same seasonal annoyances, as The Voice coach Gwen Stefani proved in a video of her husband, Blake Shelton.
The No Doubt singer took to Tik Tok to share a video of her Christmas tree, which looked beautiful except for one detail: the striped bow at the top. She enlisted Blake's help to straighten it out, and he hopped on a ladder and obliged. However, the bow was not so cooperative.
The traditional Christmas tree is decorated with poinsettias, beaded garland, and animal-themed ornaments. A striped ribbon sits at the top, but one side of the bow is a little too floppy for Blake's taste. Gwen asks, "Can you just, like, push the bow back in?" As he tries to adjust the ribbon, he asks Gwen, "Do you see what I mean? Why is it flipped all around? This part right here."
Gwen laughs as she films the video and says, "I don't know, try to fix it" while Blake lets out an exasperated, "Piece of junk!" In spite of his struggles, Gwen captioned the video, "@Blake Shelton: musician, husband, bow expert ✨"
Fans ran to the comments section to leave messages like "i need a gwen & blake reality show 🥰" and "Best couple!!! Gotta love Blake. ❤️"One asked, "does he keep you laughing 24/7? 😂 he's so genuine and down to earth and HILARIOUS 😂😂" and Gwen replied, "always 🥹🥰!!"
We love seeing this glimpse of Blake and Gwen's life at home, and it makes us feel better about our own Christmas decoration fails!
