Blake Lively Reacts to 'Rough' Take on Taylor Swift Song

Fans can always depend on Blake Lively to defend Taylor Swift's music.

The It Ends With Us actress, who is both one of Swift's best friends and biggest fans, recently weighed in on one fan's controversial opinion about the "Anti-Hero" singer's music—and it's safe to say Lively didn't exactly agree.

While giving an interview for BBC's Radio 1 Breakfast Show on Wednesday, Aug. 14, Lively, 36, participated in a game of "Unpopular Opinion," during which one caller shared a hot take having to do with Swift.

The caller expressed a qualm with Swift's setlist for the Eras Tour, arguing that the 34-year-old artist should cut the song "Love Story" from the Fearless set of the concert.

Lively, however, couldn't have disagreed more.

"Oh, that's rough," the Gossip Girl alum said in response before teasing the fan, "You just hate happiness or joy? Or just your ears? You don’t like your ears?"

But the caller still justified their take, saying, "I think it's a really good song, but I just think another song from Fearless should thrive in the spotlight."

They also added that "Love Story" is too well-known and that Swift should switch it out with a lesser-known track from her second album, like "Forever & Always" or "The Way I Loved You."

"Honestly, I wish the [concert] was just, like, 47 hours long so that all the songs could be played at all times," Lively replied, adding that her "popular opinion" is that she would love to hear her bestie play all of her favorite songs.

But realistically, Swift's concerts are already quite long. The "Fortnight" songstress sings 46 songs, performing for roughly three and a half hours for every Eras Tour crowd.

Sadly, a 47-hour-long concert might just be in Lively's "Wildest Dreams."
