Blake Lively Labelled 'Rude' For Crossing Her Legs At Fashion Week

Blake Lively is not in the good books of the fashion photographers of New York.

The 28-year-old former Gossip Girl star caused a furore amongst the fashion industry yesterday when she attended the Michael Kors fashion show in New York City, wearing a breathtaking, Kors nude dress, showcasing her incredible post-baby figure and California girl glow.

However not everyone was so thrilled with Lively's fashionable appearance at the showcase, as photographers were apparently left furious when she refused to uncross her legs while sitting front row at the show.

According to PageSix.com. Lively was asked numerous times by photographers to uncross her legs, as it seemingly causes shadows on the runway, meaning the photographers are unable to get perfect shots of the models.

It also "messes up the shots" as too many legs are visible.

The company's chairman John D Idol reportedly personally requested that Blake and other VIPs on the front row uncross their legs, when the show kicked off.

However it appears the message didn't quite make it as far as Blake, with the actress continuing to keep her legs crossed throughout the 10-minute showcase, alongside her mother Elaine and fellow actress Riley Keough, who also were cross-legged for the duration of the presentation.

Seasoned fashionistas are familiar with the practice of keeping your legs firmly placed on the ground as the show takes place.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour, is often seen sitting front row at shows with both of her legs placed on the ground.

We bet Blake won't forget this etiquette faux pas at her next runway show.
