Billie Piper 'unrecognisable' on BAFTA red carpet: 'Ageing backwards'
Fans loved her look, but many didn't recognise her immediately.
Pop star and actress Billie Piper stunned fans on the BAFTA red carpet, with many saying they didn't recognise her.
The 40-year-old wore a sequinned bodysuit with matching gloves and boots for the occasion, wearing her hair in a half-up style with two small buns and braids. She went for a heavy cat-eye but kept the rest of her makeup minimal.
"Wow, almost didn't recognise her," one fan said of Billie.
"Billie Piper is ageing backwards she’s insane for this," another said.
"That's Billie Piper? Would NOT have guessed that," a third wrote.

"I did not recognize Billie Piper with black hair!" a fourth said, with another agreeing, questioning if it was "really Billie Piper".
"Is that Billie Piper? WOW she looks amazing," someone else said.
Many others loved her outfit, with one user writing, "Billie Piper at the TV BAFTAs... nobody has ever done it better. Icon."
"Billie Piper drop your workout routine immediately," another added.
"Very into Billie Piper's look last night," a third said.
"I did a double take when I saw the picture of her at the #BAFTAS She looks incredible. Wow!" someone else wrote.
The Dr Who actress was nominated for Best Leading Actress at the BAFTAs for her role as Suzie Pickles in I Hate Suzie Too, however, Kate Winslet took out the award for I Am Ruth.
Billie smashed onto the scene after releasing her debut single Because We Want To at age 15. She became the youngest female singer to enter the UK Singles Chart at number one and went on to have success with her next song Girlfriend and in 20023 announced she was stepping away from music to focus on acting.

Billie shared snaps of her look to Instagram, writing, "BAFTA NIGHT. (I lost)."
"You should’ve won, hands down," one fan commented.
"You're the winner to me," another agreed.
"You should have won, the show is genius!" a third said.
