If you’re squeamish, look away now.

Singer, Billie Eilish, can be a bit accident-prone when it comes to fake nails. We’ve all been there, Billie.

Firstly, she punctured a hole in her hand with her gargantuan lime-green nails, and now she has full-on ripped the whole nail from the nail bed.

Who knew that fingernails could double up as weapons?

Don’t say we didn’t warn you.

She shared the photo with her whopping 33.2 million followers in Instagram. That’s 33.2 million people who were put off food for the rest of the day.

The caption read: “Ok, now it’s really enough with the nails.”

We’ve got to agree, Billie.

Eilish isn’t the only one into weapon nails (or stiletto nails as they’re known by the professionals), right now. The Love Island contestants were loving the stiletto nails, which look wholly unpractical compared to other, less pointy, styles.

In order for a nail to be classed as a stiletto nail, it has to go into a sharp point at the end. We get it, like a stiletto.

Because of how long they are, they’re prone to breakage and/or injury, as Billie Eilish found out.

How are you meant to text with those bad boys?

Ouch. Maybe try a less stab-y type of nail next time, Billie. [Photo: Instagram]

If you’re looking for nails that won’t injure you, but you’d still like to stay on trend, try asking for coffin nails.

It might sound a bit morbid, but a coffin nail is a version of the stiletto but with a squared off top.

It’s popular with the likes of Kylie Jenner who presumably doesn’t want to stab herself. It’s also possible to get this style with your natural nails, but it will mean growing them pretty long.
