ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: Let’s start big picture. What was your big takeaway from double eviction night?
JULIE CHEN MOONVES: My big takeaway is… Chelsie did not take a shot at her biggest competition to win it all… Makensy! Chelsie could have easily double crossed her by nominating Angela and Makensy. Chelsie would have conceivably had Cam, Kimo, and Rubina all vote to evict comp-beast-in-the-making Makensy. This tells me either Chelsie feels a sense of loyalty to Makensy… OR she decided there wasn’t enough time in a live double eviction show to massage the situation and get away with it unscathed.

Eleven straight times the Veto has now been used. What does that tell you about this group, and this season as a whole?
This is a group that rises to the occasion! When it’s “go time,” they pull out the W to save themselves, like Kimo in this live Veto competition. And if they don’t win it to save themselves, many of them know how to plant seeds in the Veto holder’s head to get them to do something unexpected. This is truly the season of expect the unexpected!

Where does Angela rank for you in terms of most emotional Big Brother contestants ever?
She’s definitely up there. Probably top 3. Just ask her… I bet as a superfan, she would even say she’s number 1 in the emotional department.

Finally, how did it feel watching a Deep Fake Chenbot hologram of yourself in the Big Brother house?
Jarring! I thought, “Is my voice really that low? Does my cadence sound like that? Am I giving Princess Leia’s hologram a run for her money?”
