Big Brother 2023 spoilers follow.
Big Brother has aired a huge — temporary — change around discussing nominations.
Thursday's episode (November 9) revolved around the Big Brother's Big Button task, where housemates could either risk a huge reward or punishment by pushing a glowing silver button.
Jenkin was among the unlucky ones as he was forced to become the Big Brother house's housekeeper, while Chanelle confessed she'd spoken to Yinrun least in the house and ended up handcuffed to her.
When it came to Matty's turn, he was given the chance to discuss nominations for 10 minutes with the housemate of his choice.
Matty surprisingly picked Olivia and immediately revealed that he'd nominated her because he thought she'd done the same. Unfortunately for him, Olivia explained she hadn't actually voted for Matty.
"Olivia, that's why I picked you [for this challenge] because I thought... Oh well, that's kind of funny anyway," he revealed.
The two had some cheeky predictions about how Trish and Yinrun may have nominated, before agreeing not to tell anyone about what they'd discussed.
"Now we have a secret [and] we're friends. You're stuck with me," Olivia insisted.
This twist is a massive change because discussing nominations is perhaps the most notorious rule break on Big Brother.
Fans seemed to be divided on housemates actually being able to openly discuss nominations:
