In a facebook post that has received nearly 80,000 shares, eight-month-old canine brothers, Jermaine and Jeffrey have won over the hearts of internet users.

Their story is as cute, if not cuter than the picture of them hugging.

The puppies were found lost and homeless on the streets of Philadelphia in October. Jeffrey is blind and Jermaine has devoted his life to become his personal guide dog.

Chester County SPCA, who posted the photo on their facebook page said that the pair will be adopted out together. They write:

“Pictures are worth a thousand words, but this one might just leave you speechless.”

“Here they are as they sleep, holding on to each other. The unconditional love and devotion these two dogs show is positively inspirational.”

Good news is, the shelter thinks that Jeffrey’s blindness could be a congenital or birth condition and therefore healed.

The shelter writes: “We are very excited to hear that there may be an opportunity for Jeffrey to receive an evaluation from an eye surgeon - we will keep everyone posted.”

These adorable brothers are still waiting to be adopted out, but Operation Ava, where Jeffrey and Jermaine are currently living have ‘received many applications’ and will hopefully select the most suitable owner in the coming days.

Humans could learn a thing or two from these 2 wonderful dogs!! Just read the paper and see what horrible things humans have done to each other around the world in the last 24hrs.
