• Common party stains and how to remove them

To save your clothes or tablecloth from being ruined by a wine spill, mix up a soaking solution of a litre of warm water, half a teaspoon of liquid handwashing detergent and one tablespoon of white vinegar. Leave for 15 minutes then rinse. Next, lightly sponge with rubbing alcohol from centre to edge of stain. Use one tablespoon of enzyme presoaking product in a litre of warm water to soak the fabric for a further 30 minutes. If there are still stains and the fabric is safe to bleach, go ahead and launder with chlorine or oxygen bleach.
