Butterfly ideas for bedrooms

Let beautiful butterflies, dragonflies and fairies be your inspiration to decorate your living area with an adorable 3D picture, and your child’s bedroom with wall stickers and flowering fairy lights.

  • Create a string of pretty flower fairy lights you can use to decorate a bedhead. All you need to do is buy Hawaiian-style leis – they cost about $2 each from discount variety stores – snip the cotton thread and slide off each flower. Working with a string of fairy lights, push a bulb through the hole in each flower. Then simply stick the bulbs in place using double-sided tape at the base of each bulb.

  • Go punch crazy and cut paper butterfly and dragonfly shapes, then use them to create a pretty piece of framed art for your living room.
