How to plan a perfect Mother's Day

There are many things you can do to make Mother's Day a perfect day for Mum.
Attention kids:
Keep mum out of the kitchen. There are many easy recipes you can prepare with Dad's help.
Make a luxurious bath for her. If she doesn't have her own bubble bath, you can use your own with a few drops of aromatherapy essential oils added. Don't forget to play her favourite CD and don't disturb her while she is soaking in the bath. Leave her to relax.
She will love any gift you give her. A picture of the family in a lovely frame always makes a perfect gift.
Remember, no arguing on the day and keep telling her how much you love her!
Calling all husbands/partners/dads:
Give your wife/partner the day off. She deserves it.
Take her out for the day. Doing different things throughout the day means the kids are easily entertained. Don't go to a restaurant unless your children are old enough to sit for a while. Restaurants are very busy on Mother's Day and both of you will only end up getting frustrated if your children are very active. Try a picnic in the park instead.
Don't buy her a toaster or vacuum cleaner unless she specifically asked for it! These types of gifts don't rate high on the gift-giving list for Mother's Day. All mothers like pampering gifts or anything that allows them to take time out for themselves - such as an indulgence package at a day spa. Fragrances and jewellery are always popular. If in doubt always ask her.
Good luck and enjoy Mother's Day!
