Bethenny Frankel Shares Bold Opinion on 'Unwatchable' RHONY Reboot

Bethenny Frankel has entered the chat. The OG of The Real Housewives of New York opened up about the current reboot of the popular Real Housewives franchise, saying in a now-deleted TikTok that she thinks they should bring back her original castmates like Ramona Singer, Luann De Lesseps, Sonja Morgan and others.

Saying that she has seen "enough videos" of people calling the reboot "unwatchable" and the "titanic," the Skinnygirl founder said, "justice for Sonja, Dorinda, Luann, Ramona, because they were ride or die. That show was on their back and then all of a sudden, they got replaced like shiny new toys."

"The new girls, I'm sure they're lovely, I haven't seen the show," she clarified, saying that the original women as they got older "were dropped off on the side of the road."

Her advice for Bravo? Bring back the original women and mix them in with the current rebooted cast. "Go get the old girls, and dust them off and mix them in ... humble pie is coming in hot," she added.

As we have reported, RHONY is currently in the second season of its new iteration, with Sai De Silva, Ubah Hassan, Erin Lichy, Jenna Lyons, Jessel Taank, Brynn Whitfield and Racquel Chevremont starring as the main cast, and Rebecca Minkoff joining as a friend. While the original stars Medley, Luann and Sonja have stayed in the Bravo family on shows like The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip and Luann & Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, the original women are not at all involved in this new iteration of the series.

Reception to Season 15 of RHONY has been lukewarm at best, with many fans echoing Frankel's sentiments in regards to the season, especially after last week's "prank" plotline from Minkoff and Lichy.

RHONY airs on Tuesday nights on Bravo, with episodes streaming next day on Peacock.
