Love playing games on your desktop or laptop? Then you absolutely must invest in a good gaming keyboard. But they can be clunky and expensive. The Huntsman Mini from Razer solves the first problem with its diminutive size (there’s no number pad), while this Black Friday deal solves the second problem, dropping the price down to $80 from $130.

The Huntsman Mini was my favorite of the keyboards I tested earlier this year, and Amazon reviewers agree, giving it over 5,000 five-star ratings. This reviewer says it all, calling it "an amazing keyboard" that "freed up a ton of space on my desk" and "the detachable USB-C Cable is a high-quality and welcome touch." This gamer also loves the "small simplistic design" and "ultra-fast" keys, naming it "a great investment."

This gorgeous keyboard will have you typing with glee. (Photo: Amazon)

The Corsair K70 is one of the best gaming keyboards you can buy right now, thanks to its excellent key response and typing feel. It’s so good you’ll want to use it for work and school as well. Good mechanical keyboards can normally cost up to $200 and the K70 is no exception at $180. But for Black Friday, Amazon is offering up quite a deal on this beautiful accessory: On November 24, the price will dip to $110 for all models, regardless of whether you choose the clicky or quiet set of keys. Keep your eyes peeled — don't miss this deal!

It's well worth the cost. Says this shopper: "The quality of the keyboard is absolutely top notch. The solid metal construction, the wrist rest, the packaging, the RGB lighting. All amazing. I could easily see this keyboard lasting me the rest of my life." Another gamer waxes poetic about the K70, calling it the "Mac-Daddy of keyboards, the king of the hill! ... Yea, we all have our preferences but this keyboard is built like a tank, the keys are smooth as butter... this keyboard does it all and then some..."

Equally important to having a solid gaming keyboard is a great gaming mouse, though it can be tricky to pick out the right one for your hand. The DeathAdder is a pretty comfortable accessory for a variety of hand sizes, and it comes in both an intimidating black and a classy white to fit your preferred décor. This wired mouse is normally $50 but you can pick one up at Amazon for Black Friday starting at a very tidy $20.

This shopper recommends it for people who need big and tough mice: "Overall, if you are a person with larger hands, who wants a mouse of substance to help you perform better ... this is the mouse for you!" But even smaller hands can get in on the fun. One player calls it "surprisingly light and its ergonomic design is perfect for my hand size."

The G305 is a great-looking mouse that comes in a variety of brilliant shades like blue, purple and teal. It's easy on the eyes and also your hands, thanks to its sleek, ergonomic curves. It’s also a great companion for Logitech’s other Lightspeed accessories, so your gamer space can be just as stylish as the rest of your home. Normally, this mouse is $50, but for Black Friday you can snag one for just $30.

This mouse has earned a ton of rave reviews at Amazon. One gamer calls it a “gorgeous, elegant mouse you won't regret having,” pointing out that it feels comfortable in the hand and doesn’t demand a lot of force. Another reviewer calls it “perfection in a mouse ... functionally, this mouse is the best I've owned." They add that it's "faster than a wired connection, and tracks perfectly ... ergonomics are wonderful on this as well, and I feel as though it'd fit just about any person."

This headset will literally make your head buzz. (Photo: Amazon)

A headset that vibrates along with the sound effects and music in your games? It may seem a little weird, but it can really immerse you in the game — and it’s like a nice massage for your jaw while you play, too! This headset isn’t all about the vibration either: It’s also super comfy with absolutely spectacular audio, so you won’t be distracted by a poor fit or sound. Such luxury would normally run you $130, but this week, it’s over 30 percent off — only $90!

Over 5,000 gamers give it a five-star review, with one shopper calling it a "must have" that is "very affordable for a gaming headset" and "you can hear every little thing around you; even the footsteps will play in the right if it's coming from the right and left from the left." And one player who was "unsure about the haptic feedback technology" says it's a game changer: "You feel the explosions in game, shots fired, everything through the headset. Basically, if your controller is rumbling, your headphones are rumbling."

Razer Wolverine Ultimate

The controller that comes with the Xbox Series X|S is pretty, but you can do better. The Wolverine Ultimate gamepad both feels and looks great in your hand. It even has interchangeable thumbsticks and d-pads so players can adjust the controller according to what kind of game they’re playing, as well as their personal taste. Normally this would cost $160, but right now it’s on sale for a cool $100 — that's a 38 percent discount.

Amazon shoppers love the added luxury, with this player calling it "a joy to use" and adding that "the sticks feel right, and the grips feel perfect. In fact, what prompted me to write this review is I've...just realized my hands feel better late in the day than they did this morning, which tells me I'm not straining them at all using this thing. That's never happened before."

The Pro Controller is the the best controller you can buy for your Nintendo Switch, thanks to its super comfortable grip, friendly button placement and easy connection to your console. Right now Walmart has a great bundle that will earn you a coveted Pro Controller along with one of the best games to play with it, Super Mario Odyssey. Separately, you’d pay $130 for the pair, but you can currently grab the controller and a digital code for the game for only $97.

Shoppers were happy with the upgrade, with one calling it "a quality controller. We tried a couple of off-brand controllers and have had mixed results. This controller is very solid, and works consistently well." And this parent says "My son loves this controller. He loves that it's like the PS4 controllers. It has the built-in battery, for easy recharge... great price is a plus!"

When VR headsets are so pricey and need powerful PCs to work, it’s easy to feel left out. Well, not anymore thanks to the Oculus Quest 2, an all-in-one device that doesn’t need to be attached to a computer — just set it up with your smartphone and you’re good to go. The Oculus Quest 2 is a great gift for all ages. One shopper calls it the "greatest purchase I've made as an adult." They add, "it's giving me a great workout from its games, it's comfortable, easy to operate, intuitive, and most of all FUN! Get it for you, and not the kids. You won't regret it." And another family hasn't stopped playing it, with one of the parents reporting: "Without leaving my living room today, so far I’ve been to the gym, on numerous rollercoasters, face-to-face with a dinosaur, and I played a mean game of ping pong with myself. You don’t have to be a gamer to enjoy this. You can watch Netflix, draw, so much more. I can’t recommend this enough."
