Best Actress Nominees Emma Stone, Annette Bening and Lily Gladstone Embrace at 2024 Oscars
‘Barbie’ star Margot Robbie also joined the intimate moment

Annette Bening, Emma Stone and Lily Gladstone hug at the 96th Academy AwardsWell before the winner for Best Actress was announced at Sunday’s 2024 Oscars, three of the categories’ nominees shared a special moment.
Poor Things star Emma Stone, 35, Nyad lead Annette Bening, 65, and Killers of the Flower Moon actress Lily Gladstone, 37, shared an emotional embrace during a commercial break at the 96th Academy Awards.
The trio was joined at one point by Barbie’s Margot Robbie, 33, who many fans and critics feel was snubbed from making the Best Actress nominees list.

Later in the show, Stone claimed victory for Best Actress.
The award season has created a unique bond among the Best Actress nominees, particularly Stone and Gladstone. In Vanity Fair’s 2024 Hollywood Issue, the Killers of the Flower Moon actress revealed that she and Stone have became "fast friends" — and even have matching friendship rings, which they dubbed their "Infinity Stones."
"Then she sent me a picture of her wearing the same one,” Gladstone said. “That’s our thing. We call each other Infinity Stones.”

Gladstone also told the Washington Post, “I’m getting all these sweet texts from her. Or we’re needing to vent about stuff. It’s a very sweet friendship."
