Ben Napier Teased a "New Character" in Season 8 of 'Home Town,' and Fans Have So Many Questions
HGTV fans have a lot to look forward to: New episodes of the beloved series Home Town are on the way, and the network has already renewed Ben and Erin Napier's show for an eighth season. The premiere date the second half of season 7 has not yet been announced, but Ben teased fans with a sneak peek of what's to come.
Ben shared a photo of a new (old) truck on his Instagram feed with the caption, "A new character will be introduced in season 8 😉 🛻." Fans jumped to the comments section to ask questions about the addition to the cast, a Chevy R20 pickup truck.
One commenter asked, "What’s his name? I know you named your other truck Clint," and Ben replied, "Dale, Jr," after famed NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt, Jr. Other fans were concerned that his old truck Clint, a 1962 Chevrolet C-10, had been replaced and wrote, "Your old blue classic truck hopefully didn't give up the ghost, did it??" Ben confirmed that he still has Clint: "he’s still here, just getting harder and harder to keep on the road." Ben noted that this new truck will be his "helper."
Other fans took the opportunity to ask when we could see Ben and Erin on HGTV again: "Looking forward to see the new season! We miss you" and "When do we get to see season 8????"
Stay tuned for details about the new season of Home Town. We're excited to see what other surprises Ben and Erin have in store for fans of the show!
