Subtle coppers and golds framed Julianne Hough's baby blues like no other colour can, while her sky high lashes were the finishing touch. A flick of peach lippy and she was ready to go at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards. How glam!

Vani-T International Head Make-Up Artist Monica Tietjens explains how to get her look:

Here's what you do:

1. Starting with Vani-T's Colour Crystal in Forged Gold cover your entire lid up to your brow bone and into your crease. Take a wider brush and dab the pigment into your tear duct. Next, take a fluffy blending brush to diffuse the colour in the tear duct to create a more subtle glow (this can be layered to your desired intensity, but Julianne kept it fairly subtle). Extend the line from your tear duct along your lower lash line.

2. Next, using Blackstar Gold sweep into your outer V and crease. Blend these two colours together using a back and forth motion which will create the illusion of deeper-set, extra alluring eyes!

3. Now, take Walnut and work along the extreme outer corner of your eyelid and upper lash line. By creating a darker outer eye you deepen the look which gives that red carpet edge. Take Walnut along your lower lash line to the middle of the eye. This is a subtle, diffused take on eyeliner. While still framing the eyes, there is not a harsh definitive line.

4. Now it's time for the fun part! Taking Vani-T Mineral Lash Mascara apply to your upper lashes in zig-zag motions from the root to the tip. We suggest applying 2-3 coats with this method. However, if that's not dramatic enough for you - take a tip from the Hollywood beauty book and apply some va-va-voom false lashes.

• Tip: Be sure to apply mascara AFTER applying false lashes to blend the two and rid yourself of any tell-tale signs of fakies!

5. Lastly, pucker up with Vani-T Mineral Lip Colour in Frisky Business to give yourself a flawless peachy pout. It's one of those shades that works with any skin tone and because it is a light pastel it gives the illusion of a fuller pucker!
