Kate Bosworth’s luminous skin is enhanced by her luminous hair. The 29-year-old actor sports a centre-part that seems to be the go-to-part in Hollywood right now.

Colour: "Kate is lucky enough to be born naturally light which means all you need to do is add a few highlights around her face, followed by a subtle ombre colour. The ombre colour is a blend of lightness at the ends to a slightly darker mid-length that's a more up-to-date version of a balayage," says Wayne Lewis, Technical Director for Original & Mineral and Colour Director for Original “A” Salon (formally Atlantis Hair).

Step 1: From the centre part, do fine foils around the hairline and through the crown.
Step 2: Using O&M’s Powder Lightener do an ombre technique (painting colour from ends to mid-lengths).
Step 3: Use a clear gloss like O&M’s Liquid CCT to seal the colour and condition hair.

Style: "Styling products are super important to Kate’s hair type as it is very fine. Start off with a good shampoo and condition with O&M’s Fine Intellect, bodybuilding for hair in strength and volume," says Alan Buki, Co-Founder of Original & Mineral and Owner of Original “A” salon (formally Atlantis Hair).

Step 1: Nourish hair and lay foundations to create volume using a root lift product like O&M’s Rootalicious.
Step 2: Blow out hair, stretching from the roots to create maximum volume.
Step 3: Tong ends to create more texture, then seal the style with a hair spray like O&M’s Original Queenie, which allows hair movement.
