Protein World recently came under fire for a poster that asked women if they are ‘beach body ready’ next to a picture of a skinny and gorgeous model.

The advert, which was plastered all over London tube stations, caused a mighty backlash, with many claiming every woman’s body is ready for the beach, no matter what shape or size.

Now a new poster has been made that parodies the original poster by featuring three plus-size women with the slogan: ‘Yes. We are beach body ready.’

The sassy poster features the Dove logo at the bottom, however Unilever, the company who makes Dove products, claim they did not create the advert.

Dove has created a number of campaigns that have gone viral about all women being beautiful.

However, Transport for London told Metro UK the decision was not based on the huge number of complaints, but because the campaign, which had been up for three weeks, had come to a ‘natural end’.
