Jenner’s lip kits are so popular that they sell out within minutes of going on sale on her website and it seems thieves have now discovered the benefits of selling the cosmetics brand third hand online.

Twitter has been set on fire with fans complaining about receiving empty boxes in their post – or not receiving anything at all.

Police have now become involved and the Better Business Bureau said “Kylie’s boxes are highly recognizable from the outside, making them an easy target for thieves.”

They’ve urged Kylie Cosmetics to change the colour and branding of the packaging to throw off unwanted attention from thieves.

Just last month, make-up artist Jeffree Star took to her social media accounts to shoot down Kylie's lip glosses, which she claims were frayed and tattered when they arrived at her door

“So I got the new @kyliecosmetics lip glosses.... SO disappointed in this product. That wand is unacceptable," she said.

“No shade but... How the f*** can a multimillion dollar celebrity, think this is acceptable?? Was there no quality control?”

Star’s tweets caught the attention of many, who also received frayed wands in their Lip Kits.

“@Jeffree Star I opened mind and was like this is a joke right…” one Twitter user said.

“@JeffreeStar that’s how mine came and ruined a pair of my favourite leggings because it exploded!! Will not buy again,” another said.

Other Kylie Cosmetics fans accused Star of being fake, saying he is a Kylie Cosmetics hater.

“People wouldn't be buying the product if it weren't good. Buy another product instead of hating on this one,” another tweeted.
