Korean Beauty Blogger Turns Herself Into Taylor Swift

Give yourself a couple hours and you can likely use the power of makeup to turn your tired eyes and stressed-out skin around. But Pony, a Korean beauty blogger who’s fast winning the Internet this week, stepped it up quite a few notches recently when she used 24 beauty products to completely transform herself into Taylor Swift. (Seriously — we’d beg her to join for a selfie if we saw her on the street.)

Pony, who has 1.7 million Instagram followers and almost 1 million YouTube subscribers, is also the founder of Pony Effect. So it makes sense to make a business out of an industry she is an absolute pro in.

How did the transformation take place, you ask? Pony used a variety of techniques, including several concealers, and contouring for the base of her makeup, paired with a few various blending approaches. This was followed by an arching and darkening of eyebrows using fine-tipped brushes and pencils. Swift’s signature winged black liner was formed using kohl pencils and black shadow, and when paired with false lashes (and contacts), Pony’s blue eyes looked near identical to Swift’s.

It wouldn’t be a true Swift makeup tutorial, of course, without the pop star’s bold lined cupid’s bow lips, or those delicate tiny freckles, which Pony penciled in. She topped it all off with the perfect doll-like blonde bob wig.

We’d love to see Pony do some more transformations — perhaps a Kylie Jenner or Selena Gomez is in her future? Considering the video has gotten more than 500,000 views since it posted, a few days ago, we have a feeling she’ll keep the celeb makeovers coming.
