Men Cover Their Beards In Glitter For The Ultimate Christmas Look

Men are literally dressing up as Christmas trees this year, by covering their beards in wonderful shades of sparkling glitter.

The festive trend was inspired by Brian and Johnathan from The Gay Beards whose website is filled with whacky beard creations, including paint splattered and ribboned beards.

However now the dup have taken the Christmas cheer to a whole new level, by dousing their beards in beard oil and then soaking them in glitter.

The internet has gone crazy for the festive costume idea, with men all over the world covering their beards, eyebrows and hair in glitter.

The pair were so inundated with requests on how to create the mesmerising look that they recorded a how-to video on YouTube.

"First get it nice and greased up with beard oil," Jonathan says.

"You want to fully encompass the beard.

"If there's no beard oil to hand, you can use hair spray - or if not just get it a little bit wet."

Next they saturate their beards in gold glitter, shaking off the excess with a certain pizzaz.

"You have to be careful not to breathe it in," Brian warns.

"Glitter beards are good to go after a good shampoo but the glitter in your house and in you things…it’s going to be everywhere!"
