James Charles has publicly released his ‘only’ nude photo after hackers took control of his Twitter account.

The beauty influencer shared the snap to the page’s four million followers after fraudsters allegedly began posting offensive messages that led to the shutdown of his page.

Clapping back

But the take over wasn’t enough to keep the internet star down and he quickly decided to out-do the hackers at their own game.

“Hi I got my account back,” he informed fans on Saturday.

“Just [in] case I ever get hacked again, here’s the ONLY nude I’ve ever taken! Can’t threaten me with it now get a life.”

Earlier, the 20-year-old’s followers were hit with weird messages from his account including homophobic slurs signed off by ‘the Chuckling Squad’.

Another post reportedly read, “Gonna post James nudes from his iCloud when @OwenBDK reaches 4k followers.”

Screenshots of a post, seemingly from Charles’ account, included a photo of Ted Bundy which was accompanied by the caption calling the serial killer ‘our hero’.

Offensive comments

During the hack, Charles’ account disappeared, switched handles to @ChucklingRN, and became unverified.

When reached for comment, Twitter user @ChucklingRN confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle that it hacked his account.

Representatives for Twitter and Charles did not return Yahoo Lifestyle’s requests for comment.

YouTuber Shane Dawson, who has 8.8 million followers, was also broken into on Friday, with hackers reportedly using a homophobic slur to describe Charles and tweeting, “Nazi Germany did nothing wrong.”

On Saturday, Charles was a trending topic on Twitter with followers slamming his revealing pic. “This is unnecessary and disgusting,” one follower wrote.

“It’s a butt, get over it,” James quipped back.

“Yeah well I didn’t ask to have my security and privacy threatened either....so this is me taking back ownership of the situation, move on with your day.”
