Bear Grylls has been caught with his pants down after an Instagram live stream accidentally turned into an X-rated lesson in attention to detail.
The survival expert was sharing a live stream with his 3 million fans when the hilarious blunder went down.
Sharing a video of his daily plunge, it seems the former SAS member started the stream a little too early, and accidentally captured his dive into the water wearing nothing but a pair of black socks.
The video showed his privates on full display mid-flight, but it clearly didn’t ring any immediate alarm bells, with the video staying live for several hours before it was removed – plenty of time for eagle-eyed fans to capture several screenshots.
A well-documented skinny dipper
Though the exposure may have been unexpected, the British wilderness enthusiast is a well-documented skinny dipper.
In fact, he reportedly stashed his wife’s Shara’s engagement ring between his buttocks and whipped it out to propose while the pair were floating in the buff.
“I pulled out the ring from my butt cheeks,” he told Piers Morgan in 2014.
He reiterated his love of swimming sans clothes in the same interview.
“If there’s a substantial body of water around and nobody’s looking, I’m often quite tempted to strip off and dive in,” he said.
The proof, as they say, is most certainly in the pudding though we think even the king of the skinny dip may opt for a pair of swimmers when broadcasting in future.
