An Australian beauty brand can’t restock their products quick enough, with 3,428 people signing up to a waitlist for Bali Body’s now iconic fake tan.
The brand, which has 1.5 million Instagram followers, has become a global sensation since it was launched in 2014 by Melbourne husband and wife duo David and Laura Oosterloo.
With thousands of 5-star reviews online, it seems everyone is dying to know what all the hype is about, because the waitlists for the self tanning bundles have been through the roof.
The Original Bronzed Bundle which includes the self tanning mousse, face tan water and luxe tanning mitt has 3,428 eager customers on the waitlist, while the Ultra Bronze Bundle, which features the ultra dark self tanning mousse, has 2,800 users waiting for its restock.
Hailed as the next best thing to achieving a deep tan without actually going outside into the sun, the products have all gained a legion of fans online.
According to the brand it’s the fast drying and streak-free formula that saw the product sell out three times globally.
“I would recommend this to anyone. Smells amazing, easy to use and the final look is so natural and tanned. Completely in love,” one person wrote about the face mist online.
“I have used so many other self tan products but this is by far my favourite. It looks natural and lasts through the week, even with daily showers and going for swims in the pool. I am in love with it,” another person wrote.
A representative for Bali Body advised Yahoo Lifestyle that both bundles will be restocked this week.
In September, the brand’s Face Tan Water completely sold out for the third time. On the day of its launch it sold one every 30 seconds.
