12 of the best Bake Off inspired baking tools

The Great British Bake Off came to a close last night as David Atherton beat fellow finalists Alice Fevronia and Steph Blackwell to be crowned 2019’s champion.

The season may be over, but it’s likely that more than a few of us have been inspired by this season’s star bakes.

In 2012, John Lewis reported a 15% increase in sales of mixers and an increase in sales of blenders by just under 10% since the launch of the show. In 2016, the popular series sparked a revival in traditional puddings with sales of old favourites such as spotted dick, jam roly poly and bread and butter pudding rising up 20% compared to the previous year.

So, should you be inspired to knock up a bake or two, we’ve hunted down the exact baking tools that are found in the Bake Off tent from the retro fridge to that coveted mixer so you can whip up your showstopper like a pro.
