Last night’s Bachelorette saw Charlie Newling leave the dating show after a confrontation with Ali Oetjen took a sour turn.

And while he’s now dating fellow reality star Dasha Gaivoronski from Nick Cummins’ season of The Bachelor, he’s still open to finding love again on a TV show.

“I definitely would consider it, yeah 100%,” Charlie told Yahoo Lifestyle on Friday when asked if scoring the gig of Australia’s next Bachelor is on his radar.

Romance with another reality star

As for his relationship with Dasha? Charlie said: “It’s early days so watch this space”.

“Yeah we are [dating] but we haven’t put a label on it because we haven’t been able to explore it too much while this has been happening,” the 31-year-old explains.

“We can dive into that now and see what happens and see where it evolves from here. We’re really close and we clicked.”

How they met

Charlie and Dasha first became acquainted with each other through Instagram, and it wasn’t long after Charlie wrapped up Bachelorette filming.

“It would have been a few weeks after I’d come out. She was moving to Sydney. I offered to lend a hand to her. She’s a single mum doing it on her own and I thought I’d give her a hand and it eventuated from there,” he explained.

Last night’s Bachelorette elimination

The builder’s dramatic exit during last night’s Bachelorette episode occurred after a heated discussion with Ali about being exclusive.

He also declined to take her to meet his family, explaining to Yahoo Lifestyle that the real reason for no home visit was because his grandma fell ill and his family was by her side.
