FLORENCE ALEXANDRA: It's weird. I remember with Matty, looking back, I don't think there was a single moment that I was actually comfortable on any of my single interactions, mainly because I never expected that I would go this far. I didn't anticipate on becoming such a prominent contestant on the show, because I wasn't from Australia. I had just gotten there. I thought they would kick me off first episode. So I was constantly trying to readjust to the whole situation.

But kissing on camera-- my dates, there was a camera right in my face. I think with the bach pad, they would have been a little bit further back so it feels like you have more privacy. But it was definitely a lot more comfortable kissing in between dates. So I actually got to spend a lot of time with Matty in between some of my dates.

And we were kissing. Sometimes, they separate you. I think it depends on if he wants to spend time with you, because at the end of the day, it is a TV show and there will be contestants going on single dates that he doesn't necessarily want to end up with and he already knows that. But if he likes you, and then you get to spend a lot of time together in between filming, and then you can be comfortable with each other, and then you can kiss in a more natural environment.

But kissing on camera, there is five dudes, middle aged dudes just watching you in silence while you're making-- you can hear the kissing. It's silence on TV. We hear music, but it's like, I'm sitting here making out with someone and there's five cameramen, a producer looking at her time sheet or whatever it is that she's looking at, it's awkward.
