Under the terms of the deal, Roffe will design, produce and distribute men’s and boys’ tailored clothing, which will be carried in department stores and online in the U.S. and Canada.
“Roffe Accessories offers decades of consistent innovation and agility within the apparel and accessory sector,” said Scott Orenstein, vice president, heritage brands-lifestyle at Authentic. “We are excited to bring quality tailored products through this partnership and expand Geoffrey Beene’s men’s and boys’ offerings.”
With a legacy spanning more than six decades, Geoffrey Beene is synonymous with timeless elegance and sophistication. The brand’s tailored assortment is a foundational piece of its DNA. The partnership elevates the brand’s unwavering commitment to innovation and high-quality products that cater to the varied lifestyles of today’s consumers.
Murray Roffe, president of Roffe Accessories, added: “As consumers transition to a more hybrid lifestyle, we see an opportunity to offer suits, sport coats, dinner jackets and dress pants that can be paired seamlessly with other components of their wardrobe.”
Authentic purchased Geoffrey Beene along with the other heritage brands in the PVH Corp. portfolio in 2021 for $220 million. That deal included Izod, Arrow and Van Heusen.
