Austin Butler's looking different with his new hairstyle.

The Bikeriders actor, 33, has been keeping a low profile these days, but according to an Instagram account belonging to excursion company, Xieltun, he’s been spending his days in Tulum, Mexico, where he and his hair transformation were photographed.

In a photo shared earlier this week, the Oscar-nominated star can be seen with a close buzz cut, his signature golden blonde locks completely shaved off.

He wears a white T-shirt and black shorts and poses with a group of people including director Darren Aronofsky, who is working with Butler on Caught Stealing, a thriller film.

“We had the honor to host two great talents of cinema in Xieltun: actor Austin Butler and acclaimed director Darren Aronofsky. Thank you for visiting us and being a part of this unique experience connecting with the nature and spirit of our sacred land!” the company wrote, per a translation.

The dramatic hair change comes one month after Butler was spotted filming his upcoming project in Queens, New York. Snapshots of him on set show him rocking a dirty blonde bob haircut long enough to tuck behind his ears.

His latest cut is similar to the bald moment he had as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen in Dune: Part Two, which was released on March 1.

For his role in the Denis Villeneuve-directed sequel, also starring Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya and Florence Pugh, Butler had to appear onscreen with a hairless and eyebrow-less appearance, meaning the bald cap that covered his head extended all the way down to his face.

This time though, Butler fully committed to the bit and fans mourned the loss of his luscious locks on social media, one fan writing on X (formerly Twitter), "Oh Austin Butler hair I miss you already (come back)."

In addition to Butler, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tyler Cameron, Mark Consuelos and The Bachelor star and Dancing with the Stars season 33 winner Joey Graziadei have all debuted buzz cuts this year.
