Engagement announcements are taken very seriously these days, and one woman has taken things to a new level to make sure her special moment was picture perfect.

At first glance there is nothing out of the ordinary in this engagement photo shared by a couple from Melbourne. But another image showing the behind-the-scenes has since gone viral, proving things aren’t quite what they seem.

It turns out the woman’s cousin offered her own hand to model the engagement ring for the photo because the bride-to-be didn’t have her nails done.

In a series of photos shared on Twitter, Jenna from Melbourne, can be seen kneeling next to her cousin and her boyfriend with her red manicured hand outstretched in front of them.

My cousin’s boyfriend proposed to her but she didn’t have her nails done lmao,” she wrote.

Jenna went on to explain that her cousin, Diana, is a nurse and never has her nails done but wanted the photo to be perfect.

Diana said at first she didn’t think much of it until they started taking photos she joked to her partner that she should have had her nails done.

“That’s when Jenna stepped in and offered to be my hand model so that was really nice,” Diana told Sunrise.

The post has since been shared over 200,000 times. Some people even admitted the swap was so well done they didn’t notice anything until they had a second look at the images.
